Welcome to My Camp Grimes, Mecklenburg County Council's online summer camp information site. One of North Carolina's finest Boy Scout Camps, Camp Grimes is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camp Grimes is part of the Mecklenburg Scout Reservation and is owned and operated by the Mecklenburg County Council, Boy Scouts of America, Charlotte NC.
From the Camp Director
It was great to be back at Camp Grimes this summer. Thanks to all of our scouts and leaders, as well as my staff for conducting a great summer camp, despite the challenges that COVID-19 presented. Now that camp for 2021 is behind us, it is time to start planning for next summer. That’s why I’m excited to announce the dates for Summer Camp 2022 at Camp Grimes.

- Week 2, June 26 - July 2, 2022
- Week 3, July 3 - 9, 2022
- Week 4, July 10 - 16, 2022
- Week 5, July 17 - 23, 2022
To register your troop for 2022, click here. Now more than ever the Mecklenburg County Council needs our units’ support. We encourage you to come home to Camp Grimes next summer. The cost for both in-council and out of council units is $375.
