Welcome! to the MCC VOA's Legacy 4.0 information site. This year's Legacy will be held at one of our state's finest Scout Camps, Mecklenburg Scout Reservation, Camp Grimes, located in the wonderous foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camp Grimes is one of two camps owned and operated by the Mecklenburg County Council, Boy Scouts of America, Charlotte NC.

From the Legacy Chair
The Mecklenburg County Council Venturing Officers Association is looking forward to seeing you at Legacy 4.0!We had successful Legacy Planning Meetings, have worked on the patch design and made great strides forward in the planning of the program.
We will have amazing vendors, such as the National Whitewater Center and the Nantahala Outdoor Center. As you enter camp, you will pass the Indian Village on your right, then the First Scout Camp on your left, and finally the Frontier area as you pull up to the office where you will be met by smiling faces and the wondrous views of the foothills of North Carolina.
Our program will include, but not limited to, Cowboy Action Shooting, a 5K, Archery, Climbing, and a star-studded campfire to top it all off. Please mark your calendars for September 16th - 18th, 2016 and join us as we showcase Mecklenburg County Council to Area 5, the Southern Region, and the National VOA
