Policy Statement

  1. The first opportunity to state a preference for a site for the next summer will be at Camp Grimes during the week a troop is in camp. A troop has until Friday noon of their week to reserve their same site and same week. There is a $50.00 site reservation deposit. This a deposit against camper fees, It is not an additional fee.

(Since this is the first year of this process, Troops will be able to choose site preference when their paid deposit is made for 2008)

  2. At Friday noon any troop in camp may reserve any un-reserved site in the same week, or a previous week.
  3. After the week is over, (Saturday) any site and previous week is available to any troop that has been at Camp Grimes this summer.
  4. After the camping season is over all unreserved sites and weeks are open to any troop.
  5. The Camp Director and Ranger will establish a minimum and maximum number each site holds. The troop must make camper deposits and final reservations based on this number by May 1 to continue to hold site.
  6. If a troop arrives a camp and its numbers do not fit a site they reserved, they will be subject to being moved to a site they fit or another troop added to the site.
