Calling all Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews!
Are you ready for an extreme adventure. Come join us for Xtreme weekends at Mecklenburg Scout Reservation (Camp Grimes).
Troops and Crews can sign up for lots of great activites that are run by trained and certified instructors at a cost of only $20 per Scout or Venturer. You will camp and cook on your own. Leave the program to us.
Weekend Programs will offer various hands-on activities to Troops and
Crews that are fun and challenging.
- Program staff will be supplied . You bring the youth!
- To attend a Unit needs at least one registered adult, one parent,
and two registered Scouts
- This weekend is dynamic with different programs offered . Choose
from the following:
- Shooting Sports - 2 hour session, maximum 10 people
- Indian Skills - 2 hour session, maximum 20 people
- Timber Sports - 2 hour session, maximum 25 people
- Blacksmith - 2 hour session, maximum 10 people
- Fishing - 2 hour session
- Climbing - 4 hour session, maximum 10 people
- Advance online registration and payment is required.
- There is a $20.00 fee per Scout for the weekend . Food is not
included in this fee.
- All participants are expected to follow the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and the Guide to Safe Scouting.
