Camp Grimes is temporarily closed due to damage from Hurricane Helene. You can check availability on the calendar for your 2025 dates. Currently, alternative camping plans and reservations can be made at Belk Scout Camp in Midland, NC – Mecklenburg County Council's second camp.

The Mecklenburg Scout Reservation is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is owned and operated by the Mecklenburg County Council, Boy Scouts of America, Charlotte NC.

Campsites and program facilities at the Mecklenburg Scout Reservation are available nearly year round for Boy Scout troops, Cub Scout packs, Venturing Crews and other youth organizations.

Mecklenburg Scout Reservation is home to Mecklenburg County Council's summer camp, Camp Grimes.
