We have a Cub Scout that is unable to attend camp with their unit during Session 4 and would really like to come to camp.

T-Shirt Size Deadline

Posted 2016-06-26 16:40:21 by John Ross - Camp Director

All,

I hope you are getting ready for camp because we are!

Camp is just a couple of weeks away and we are getting ready to place our T-Shirt order. Please make sure you have all of your sizes correct and any additional shirts you want to purchase in the system by End of Day Tuesday - you will not be able to make any changes after that.

A couple things to remember...

- T-shirt Sizes are all "Adult" Sizes a Small is an Adult Small.

- Only the size recorded in the system counts - if you scratched it out on your printed copy and made a note that it should be something else, it does not count. You need to enter it in the system.

- Everyone will recieve 1 (one) shirt, if you want extra's they are avilable, but they must be in the system in order to recieve the pre-camp cost. Extra will be availbe in the trading post to purchase at full price.

- You will recieve your shirts during check-in. You will only recieve the shirts in the sizes your entered that are recorded on your roster (you won't be able to swap at registration).

You can verify your shirt order by opening your printable invoice (click review and print from your roster page).

REMINDER: Swim Test Scheduled 6/26 Hornets Nest District

Posted 2016-06-10 19:06:09 by Eileen Fox

All units are highly encouraged to have their Scouts swim test in advance of WAC (that way when they come to camp they are only there to have fun!).

Any BSA Certified Lifeguard can administer the test, however our Aquatics Director reserves the right to retest an individual/unit. Please remember is it the units responsibility to bring a copy of the Unit Swim Test Form to the test and have the Lifeguard in Charge complete it AND to bring it with them to Check-in at Camp.

We’re pleased to offer the below date in the Hornet's Nest district.

The WAC Aquatics Staff will also be conducting additional tests around council but a Unit may go to whichever tests is convenient for them either due to location or timing.

*Note - This is the last Pre-camp swim test opportunity.

*Don’t forget if you’re swim testing for Day Camp – Bring the form so they only have to take the test once!
