Seasonal Staff Applications for Webelos Adventure Camp will be accepted starting December 1, 2019.

Opportunities for summer employment in key staff positions are best among those who apply prior to March 1; however, applications will continue to be accepted after that time.

All staff members will provide a completed Part A, B, and C medical form signed by a physician prior to the beginning of camp.

Staff members over 18, not leaving camp between sessions, need to make prior arrangements with the camp director for meals. Staff members 14 to 18 years old will not be permitted to stay at camp between sessions.

Camp Sessions:

  • Session 1: Sunday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 15th
  • Session 2: Thursday, July 16th through Sunday, July 19th
  • Session 3: Sunday, July 19th through Wednesday, July 22nd
  • Session 4: Thursday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 26th

Training Dates:

  • Youth / Resident Staff
    • WAC Staff Meeting, Tuesday, March 31st, 6:00 to 7:00 pm
    • WAC Team Building, April 3-5
    • WAC Shakedown, May 1-3
    • Lifeguard CPR / "BLS for Healthcare Providers", Saturday May 16th
    • Lifeguard Training, May 29-31
    • Camp Set-up day, Saturday July 11th
  • Adult / Non-Resident Staff
    • WAC Staff Meeting, Tuesday, March 31st, 6:00 to 7:00 pm (OPTIONAL, recommended if first year)
    • COPE/Climbing Training, Level 1, May 1-3
    • Belk Camp Staff Training, Saturday May 2
      • 1st Aid/CPR/AED
      • Range Training
      • Youth-on-Youth Abuse Prevention (YOYAP) Training
      • BMX
    • Lifeguard CPR / "BLS for Healthcare Providers", Saturday May 16th
    • Lifeguard Training, May 29-31
    • Camp Set-up day, Saturday July 11th (OPTIONAL, help appreciated)
