Seasonal Staff Applications for Webelos Adventure Camp will be accepted starting December 1, 2021.

Opportunities for summer employment in key staff positions are best among those who apply prior to March 1; however, applications will continue to be accepted after that time.

All staff members will provide a completed Part A, B, and C medical form signed by a physician prior to the beginning of camp.

Staff members under 18 years old will not be permitted to stay at camp between sessions 2 and 3. Staff members over 18, not leaving camp between sessions, need to make prior arrangements with the Camp Director for meals.

Camp Sessions:

  • Session 1: Thursday, July 7th through Sunday, July 10th
  • Session 2: Sunday, July 10th through Wednesday, July 13th
  • Session 3: Thursday, July 14th through Sunday, July 17th

Training Dates:

  • Youth / Resident Staff
    • WAC Staff Meeting, Wednesday, March 24th, 7:00 to 8:00 pm
    • WAC Staff Bonding (TENTATIVE - Sunday, April 24th)
    • WAC Shakedown, April 29th - May 1st
    • Lifeguard CPR / "BLS for Healthcare Providers", TBD
    • Lifeguard Training, June 3rd - 5th
    • Tower Staff Training Day, Saturday, June 4th, 8:00am to 5:00pm at Belk
    • Camp Set-up day, Wednesday July 6th
  • Adult / Non-Resident Staff
    • WAC Staff Meeting, Wednesday, March 24th, 7:00 to 8:00 pm (OPTIONAL, recommended if first year)
    • COPE/Climbing Spring Training, April 29th - May 1st
    • Program Staff Training, Saturday April 30th
      • 1st Aid/CPR/AED
      • Range Training
      • Youth-on-Youth Abuse Prevention (YOYAP) Training
      • BMX
    • Lifeguard CPR / "BLS for Healthcare Providers", TBD
    • Lifeguard Training, June 3rd - 5th
    • Camp Set-up day, Wednesday July 6th (OPTIONAL, help appreciated)
